paul was my sister susans husband.he was such a nice person..sue and paul were married for 40 years ..they have 2 sons...david and dean who are both married now ...sue and paul have 2 grandchildren....christopher and antonia..paul idolised sue and his sons there wifes and also his grandchildren..Paul came from a family of 14 there were 7 boys and 7 girls..which was quite a coincidence since sue is 1 of 14 too..Paul we all loved you allthough we didnt see each other often enough we still loved you..my sister sue idolised you too Paul but i guess you knew that anyway since you were married for so long..god bless you Paul

just a few words paul we didnt see a lot of you untill we found out you and george both was ill then you started to visit us quite a lot we all got quite close george and i was there the day you left us all paul and it was a sad day for all no one in this world could ever replace you as my favourite brother in law see you soon paul love you forever hug and kisses bev and george xxx

hi paul i saw sue this week she is ok but still misses you desperatly ...david and karen and dean and debbie are all fine and so is your 2 lovely grandchildren....but they all miss you so very much too...your friend steve(pelle)had a football shield made its called the paul sergent memorial shield..the 2 teams that played the first match were the barlestone legends and the ibstck legends....the ibstock legends won this year paul it was a great match bye bye for now paul...love ya koads..lola..xxx
i hope that there will be a day that aunty sue finds the strength to come on gts and see how much we loved paul....so when that day comes im putting this on here for her and hope that it comforts her in some small way

a true gentleman
if ever there was a golden couple in our large family i would say without a shadow of doubt that it was aunty sue and uncle paul they spent so many years together and if i have half the marriage they had i will be lucky i cant describe the hurt i felt the day i saw auntie sue break down the thing with our family is we may not always see each other but we would be there in a shot if we were needed all my love to you all god bless you uncle paul xxxxxxxxxxxx
thinking of you still
i lived far away from aunty sue and uncle paul so i very rarely got to see them...but i can always remember how handsome paul was and what a fantastic couple he and my aunty made....he was gentle,kind,and what the word 'gentleman' truly truly meant.....i dont often see my cousins david and dean but they both have a whole load of their dad in them...dean is the image of him and david sounds just like him...i hope i find one tenth of the happiness and love with my husband that sue and paul shared .....godbless uncle paul...you are more missed than you could ever imagine......

paul had a friend whos real name is steve but everyone calls him pelle..i just wanted to say thankyou steve for allways being there for paul...and to thank you and your wife for being there for sue when paul passed away...thank you both very much...xxx
